CPAOD Bios: Uncle River
Uncle River is the publisher of Xizqil, a great magazine
that comes out far more frequently than Cyber-Psychos. His
fictitious Mogollon News series, set in the real New Mexico
ghost town where he lived for 5 years, ran on public radio station
KRWG, Las Cruses, from 1986-90, and in several newspapers. The
series is now a regular print feature in Back Brain Recluse.
Uncle River's fiction credits include Trajectories, Midnight
Zoo, The Sign of the Times 10 Year Anthology, Flickers 'N' Frames
(England), and Copper Star; the anthology published by
the 1991 World Fantasy Convention. Mother Bird Books (Silver City,
NM) published his intensely real novel Thunder Mountain in
1997.
