For more complete CPAOD News, please sign up on the mailing list. It is a moderated news digest only list, and not at all a mail-bomb. The mailing list archives can be read on its web site. Due to the recent relocation, and lots of confusion, the archives aren't exactly huge yet.
June 01, 2005: CPAOD is finally being resumed. To get the full details, please sign up on the CPAOD-News list ASAP. I am also very lovingly and lustfully compiling an anthology dedicated to our heros of Homeland Security. Oh, if only they would wear snazzy black & grey fascist uniforms... but we can all only swoon so much. Don't worry, I'm still the same ol' flaky Jasmine. Except a bit ol'er, and likely also flakier. There has been some discussion about both (CPAOD and the anthology, but likely also my oldness and flakiness) on CPAOD-Discuss (the interactive unmoderated mailing list). Feel free to join the list to ask questions, pester contributors, or simply blather inanely with us. How long the next CPAOD will take to surface largely depends on how long it will take me to find the proper variety of contributors.
2004: In case anyone missed it, a few things did happen last year. Many were a small smattering of web site updates here and there. Much more importantly, I FINALLY published Forbidden Gospels of Man-Cruel by t. Winter-Damon and Randy Chandler. Look them up under CPAOD Books, or in the catalogue. As to why they took so long to publish... they were cursed, I tell you, CURSED!!!! Fortunately, though, the curse seems to have only hit everyone who was working on producing the books rather than anyone who has merely read them. I feel reasonably certain that finally managing to publish them against all odds broke the curse. *crossing fingers & knocking on wood* My new computer doesn't seem to be crashing as a result of my typing about them, anyway. I also relocated all of the mailing lists (CPAOD-News, CPAOD-Discuss, and Cnidaria) to a private server after being rudely banned from Yahoo Groups. (Also after losing all of the initial versions of the lists elsewhere, *sigh*.) That was in April '04, please sign up at the latest incarnation of the groups if you've spent the past 1+ years wondering why no one ever posts anything. And on that note, anyone who has tried sending Yahoo Groups invites to my email address... I am not snubbing you. I can not receive mail from Yahoo Groups due to my address being banned. Ask me about the other address I use to get around this when necessary.
