The Incredible 2-Headed TV Casualty

Hey! Welcome back fiends! Up 1st we'd like to give a 21 tentacle salute to TNT for their Godzilla Monster-Visions!! What a line-up! Godzilla, King of the Monsters, Godzilla Vs. Mothra, Godzilla Vs. MechaGodzilla, Godzilla Vs. The Sea Monster, Godzilla Vs. Ghidrah, all in one night! This same line-up has shown 2 other times so keep an eye out!

Ya know, TNT gave us another surprise, although short-lived, from Feb. to March when they started airing episodes of Ultra -7! Yes, the continuing saga of UltraMan on our planet, saving it from the onslaught of attacking aliens! Probably the reason it was canceled was due to an airing time of 4 a.m. here in Colorado -- which is a little early, but thank Mothra for timers on VCRs!

And just one last TV show we think ya might dig before we get on to the videos, it's RoboCop and it's an independent show so you'll have to look for it! This show kicks booty! Lotsa action and effects and the characters aren't so bad either! There's tons of bitin' social commentary that sometimes isn't all that funny but true all the same! And the villains are always a gas! So check this'n out!

All right! On with the movies!

(snip)

Onward to more machinery, Tetsuo: Iron Man! Yow! Rampant cybersextechnobody fear! This'n pulls out all the phobias of our modern lives and wraps 'em in cold uncaring flesh/metal then keeps hittin ya over the head with it until yer a part of it, laughin and paranoid, lookin around for somethin to crush! From the minute this movie starts yer trapped, entangled in all the wire, scrap metal, blood and filth, and the coolest thing about it is, you don't mind! Director Shinya Tsukamoto lets you into his character's mind and allows you to experience his disgust, arousal, fear of himself and everyone/everything around him. And by the time he becomes a huge, lumbering, metal monster roamin the streets of Japan, you know exactly how he feels!! All this with hardly any dialogue or translation! This is a movie filled with effects, the kind ya feel not just watch, as a man becomes his environment: a walkin, stompin, junkyard on the warpath! After watchin this we felt numb and crazed at the same time and that, to us, is an ultra-enjoyable experience! Changin the oil in yer car will never be the same again!!
