DE Bios: Bill Lemieux
Bill Lemieux (aka Gomez) is a founding member of the Mad Scientists Club and participates in
a variety of other counter-cultural groups and clubs. His interests include extopianism,
dangerous electronics, hacking the human machine, hedonism of all sorts, and irresponsible
engineering disguised as performance art. He has been, at various times, active in the
Colorado gothic, music, science fiction fandom, and BDSM/fetish communities. He lives in
Denver, Colorado, and makes his living in aerospace and computer engineering. Bill is also
one of the folks responsible for The Critter Crunch, the original fighting robots
competition started in 1986.
