Most In-Sync is the only post knock-out award given based on votes, rather than on a
general tallying of victories. No one can vote for their own Pair, and everyone who votes
needs to include a comment and sign their names. This encourages people to honestly vote
for a Pair that they thought were particularly in sync.
Jessica Lin and Yaphet Tewahade, though they have both been at the tournament every year, have not played together before. They played extremely well! I got to play them in round 2, and it was a very tense and exciting game (there was a LOT of fighting, which is not the easiest possible way to go about Pair Go).
Some of the votes were a bit hastily scrawled, and I'm not including all of them here (yes, they did receive more votes than this). I am, of course, including their votes from last year's Most in Sync Pair (Diana and Albert)! The voting slips are tiny pieces of paper, so unfortunately no one can write a dissertation or mini-novel.

And now for something a little different!
To fill up more space, I've decided to start including some votes (for any Pair!) that I found either particularly well thought-out or that I simply found amusing. This was neither planned nor announced for this round, so I picked a couple of votes that made me chuckle and looked good as a Vote Pair (yes, these votes were very In-Sync). In the future I'll look for the more solid vote assessments out of the pile. If you feel like getting your vote up here, you are welcome to use bigger paper or both sides of the voting slip if you have a lot to say.
