Poor Hawk Eye (or Hawk's Eye)... in between the other two members of the Amazon Trio, he ceases to be visible. I still love him, though, and even if I didn't in general I would not have been able to avoid being charmed by his attempt to seduce (for her mirror of dreams!) Usagi's Mom. That was... so wrong... (Note that my brain is laughing hysterically over the so wrongness if it all.)
He's the one who goes after the older women, the type who wants to find a supplementary Mom in women of interest. Or was that already obvious after my comment about Ikuko?
You can see more Hawk Eye under Amazon Trio (groups).
Episode #: 130: Protect Mom's Dream! Use the New Deadly Weapons
of Double-Moon
Stats: 3 layers, stuck, A1/B1/C2 (all) KEY Sketches: 1 matching (A1, shackled Mom), unstuck Comments: Hawk Eye, a dream mirror, and Ikuko (Usagi's Mom, the owner of the suspended dream mirror). The dream mirror was just removed right before this cel, then Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon made a speech about taking advantage of housewives who only take care of their kids. Here Hawk Eye is commenting that they must be the so-called Sailor Senshi, just barely before he summons Human Cannon Bango-san. If I ever get around to making a mixed groups section, this one will probably wind up there. Rice paper is stuck to the back of the cel, hence the ripple effect. |
Episode #: 149: The Dream Mirror! Amazon's Final Stage
Stats: 1 layer, A1 KEY Sketches: none Comments: SPOILER!!! It's the sad end of Hawk Eye. When Zirconia sends Mr. Magic Pierrot (just another killer clown) to dispose of "unnecessary things", Hawk Eye valiantly jumps in front of Fish Eye and is killed by a (card) spade that opens a large hole in his chest. *sniffle* This episode makes me weepy. I love these guys, *bawl*. Heh, pardon that emotional outburst. |
