Fiore and the Kisenian flower appeared in the Sailor Moon R movie. Fiore had the same seiyuu as Ail, while the Kisenian had the same one as Ann. The Kisenian doesn't look much like a Makaiju child (and isn't one), but Fiore is identical to the others in every way besides his hair colour. The hair is streaked exactly the same way, though! He's not officially a Makaiju Child, but I suspect he is one who was separated from the herd.
Poor Fiore didn't fare too well. Definitely a tragic "villain" (it wasn't his fault!). He "teamed up with" (was controlled by) the Kisenian flower and returned to earth to be reunited with the man of his dreams. Such sad dreams, because the man happened to be Mamoru. They had met in a hospital as children, and after Fiore was given a rose (blushing adorably all the while) he promised that he would find the most special flower for his "friend" and then return. The Kisenian seemed to be this flower, but perhaps only because he wasn't thinking clearly while she was around. It didn't matter much anyway, since Mamoru showed absolutely no consideration for the poor guy. *beats Mamoru up for a while*
Fiore's human disguise is a less interesting looking young boy named... Fiore!
It may seem a little odd that I spit and curse every time I think about Mamoru in this movie, yet I like the Kisenian who directly abused Fiore. Why is that? Er, hrm, well, the Kisenian is purdy. ;) Heh, it's actually pretty simple. She was a monster performing her monsterly duties, and had no reason to care about Fiore aside from his use as a tool. Mamoru, on the other hand, shared a bond with Fiore. Upon noting that his old friend needed help, he should've tried harder to help him. Or at least given something resembling a damn about his outcome. That's my twisted logic, anyway.
Viewing Order: My cels are sequentially out of order, so I will put a # at the beginning of each description to let everyone know the proper order. All but two of the cels are from the first fight with Fiore.
Next up will be a pan cel of Fiore fighting someone who needs to be hurt badly by him. (What, me? Hostile? Never!) And maybe I'll decide to add another of my old ones.

When he's having trouble fighting the Senshi late in the movie, the Kisenian "lends her power to him" (fully possesses him). This causes his hair to turn pink like hers. The bulky armour-like foldings over the top of his outfit are actually her arms. Fiore's suffering from a little confusion here because the Kisenian has him convinced that Usagi is a liar who will hurt Mamoru and make him lonely. The other Senshi tell him they all would have been alone without her. Were he not controlled he would've been reassured, but since he is he instead says they've all been fooled by her and he can't allow her to live. This cel is right around the end of that sequence, before he yells "Shin'e!" and attacks. |

I'm 98% convinced that this cel is from Fiore's flashback story to Mamoru about finally finding the perfect flower for him after searching numerous planets. She's shown as a flower on some dead piece of rock, and then is shown in this close-up. There are glowing red FX over her eyes on screen. There's a similar cel earlier in the movie, but it morphs into Fiore's face too quickly for me to tell if it's identical. |

Well, okay, it's also my favourite because of the flowing hair and billowing cape. The stance doesn't hurt either. This cel happens moments after the last 2 cels on this page. After being simple in hurting Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter, he saves a special attack for Usagi (the competition). Long claws grow out of his hand, and he plans to shred her with them. Some other guy (wears a tuxedo and top hat) cuts in with his typical distraction techniques, though. Fortunately Fiore accidentally hurts this other guy. If I hadn't already adored him before that moment... The cel immediately below this one happens before that wonderful event though. |

Stats: 1 layer, A21 KEY Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: #4. I really didn't need yet another small image Fiore cel, but this one was so adorable that I couldn't resist it. I love that wistful smile. Unfortunately the smile is for the jerk he fell for, and that happy wistfulness quickly gives way to Fiore having his poor little heart ripped out. *sniffle* Right after Fiore's claws are distracted, above, he (as the only living creature in the universe who can immediately recognise all of the senshi as the regular people they are) is thrilled to see that guy and says he must not have forgotten their friendship after all. Oh why oh why did such a cutie have to fall for such a cruel, callous, (profanity deleted)? Even the sketch for this cel is adorable, so I'm including it. Sketch |

Stats: 1 layer, A8 Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: #2. You can see the Kisenian flower poking her head up over Fiore's arm. His eyes are open, but he is squinting. This moment is immediately after the below moment. After blasting Venus and Mercury through a window, he pauses to chuckle and then gives pretty much the same treatment to Sailor Mars. This cel is stuck to rice paper. |

Episode #: Sailor Moon R Movie
Stats: 1 layer, A17 Sketches: None Comments: #1. And here's a more clear shot of a peeking Kisenian, albeit a direly in need of being rescanned one. This is right after Fiore first reveals his true form in the movie, and right after the Kisenian makes her first appearance. She admires the energy of the planet, Fiore agrees that his flowers will bloom nicely here. After Sailor Moon asks who they are, Kisenian notes that they must first be rid of anyone who will get in their way. Fiore responds by raising his arm to blast Venus and Mercury (which throws them through a window), then the others. |
