Series: Flame of Recca Character: Kage Houshi/Kagerou Episode #: ? Stats: 2 layers, A1 KEY END/B1 KEY Sketches: 2 matching, unstuck Comments: A beautiful, albeit rather serious and scowly, Kagero (Kage Houshi) close-up from the Ura Buto Satsujin timespan. B1 KEY is a mouth layer. There is a Studio Pierrot seal. Cel Condition: Very good. Some line fading. Minor surface scuffs that don't effect the image. Price: $70.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Kuukai Episode #: around 24 (?) Stats: 1 layer, A11 Sketches: 1 matching, stuck (image side out) Comments: Kuukai, shihandai of Kuu and leader of Team Kuu at the Ura Buto Satsujin. He pounds the hell out of Recca during the first round, to teach him a (seriously) kind and helpful lesson about reality. This is possibly while he's initially pounding on and being cheerful about letting Recca hit him 3 times so he'll become the Oni. He's a decent guy, and spends a lot more time with the gang in the manga. Cel Condition: Very good. Minor line fading. The blank side of the sketch is stuck to the cel. Price: $40.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Kirisawa Fuuko Episode #: Uraha Ma rounds (UBS semi finals) Stats: 1 layer, C3 Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: A Fuuko head-shot with great hair and eyes. Cel Condition: Very good. Minor line fading. Tiny bits of crinkling and colour imprinting on sketch. Price: $50.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Kirisawa Fuuko Episode #: 20: Explosion!! The Secret of a Girl's Skin!! Stats: 1 layer, A13 KEY Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: A very nice reactive Fuuko from her fight with Fujimaru at the beginning of the Ura Buto Satsujin. Cel Condition: There is some line fading, plus minor cel surface scuffing and dustiness. The sketch has minor crinkles and some very tiny scuffs. There is something like a streak (thin line) of black paint to the side (barely touching the edge of her arm). Price: $50.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Koganei Kaoru Episode #: ? (25: Shock!! Lightning Quick Conclusion!!) Stats: 1 layer, A2 KEY Sketches: 1 matching, stuck Comments: I thought this cel was from the Shiju fight, when Koganei is being bashed after losing the Kougan Anki. Having trouble finding it though. At the least, he's having quite a painful struggle. The blank side of the sketch is stuck, so you can still see the image. Cel Condition: Minor line fading and surface scuffing. There are some small specks on the cel. The blank side of the sketch is stuck, so you can see both images. Price: $45.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Koganei Kaoru Episode #: ? Stats: 1 layer, A4 KEY Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: Koganei is gawking and sweating (sweat drop under his left eye). I am at least 90% certain this is from an early fight (including up to the early parts of the Shiju fight), but I'll need to see if I can find it. Cel Condition: Very good. There is some line fading. The cel surface has a little dust and there are a few tiny specks. The sketch has some colour residue. Price: $55.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Mikoto Episode #: 40: A Wicked Woman's Trap! Angry Fuujin!! Stats: 2 layers, unstuck, A4 KEY END/B1 KEY Sketches: 2 matching, unstuck Comments: Uruha Kurenai's Mikoto, one of the most foul-mouthed, and generally foul, members of the Uruha. Though I do feel bad for her later in the manga... Regardless of her foulness, she's got a nice character design. The line-up of the two layers is a little weird (one is head, one is body, and they need to be set weird to overlap properly). I wonder if the head might've been for one sequence down, since it does look right and only the cellophane squares don't line up. (Wild guess.) Cel Condition: Decent. I think the 2 layers were stuck before, and some of the paint from the head layer in on the body layer (which is, at least, covered by the head when it is in place). The cel is a bit dirty. Price: $45.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Mikoto (Uruha Kurenai) Episode #: 40: A Wicked Woman's Trap! Angry Fuujin!! Stats: 1 layer, A2 Sketches: 1 matching, stuck Comments: A beautifully coloured tearful Mikoto, during her fight with Fuuko in the final round of the Ura Buto Satsujin. (SPOILER) She's crying her crocodile tears after being poisoned and losing the antidote, wanting to be saved so she can finish killing the potential saviour (Fuuko). Cel Condition: Very good. There is line fading, minor surface scuffing, and a little dustiness. The image side of the sketch is stuck to the cel. Price: $65.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Aki (Uruha Oto) Episode #: 29: Suspicious Tongues/Fear of the Kotodama!! Stats: 1 layer, A3 Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: A very lovely and/or very cute close-up of Aki, from her fight with Domon during the Ura Buto Satsujin. You also get a clear shot of the Kotodama (madougu) on her collar. Aki is a member of the all-female Uruha Oto, along with Neon and Miki. Cel Condition: Excellent. Only teensy traces of line fading. The sketch has a little colour imprinting in part of the lower half. Price: $50.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Aki (Uruha Oto) Episode #: 29: Suspicious Tongues/Fear of the Kotodama!! Stats: 1 layer, A4 KEY Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: Aki, jumping backward to dodge a punch from Domon at the beginning of their fight (fight 1 with Uruha Oto at the Ura Buto Satsujin). Cel Condition: Very good. There is some line fading. Very minor surface scuffing and some dust on the cel. The image is unmarred. The sketch has some minor crinkles. Price: $40.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Miki of Uruha Oto Episode #: 31 (I think): Cursed Fire/Kurenai's Past!! Stats: 2 layers, stuck, A4 x 2 Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: A very nice profile of Miki, who doesn't have many active episodes in the series (but the couple she does have are great). I have a nearly identical one from this sequence (A5), or I wouldn't be selling this cel. The sketch is interesting in that there is some separate genga-like colouring on the back-side as well. Cel Condition: Very good. Some line fading, a few tiny bits of paint loss in hair tips (not easy to see). Price: $60.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Meno (flashback) Episode #: 27: Tears Shed Because of a Girl's Hair!! Stats: 1 layer, C9 KEY Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: Meno, in a flashback to when her madougu is implanted so her father won't be hurt. I believe this is right when she's (very unhappily) deciding to follow the orders to kill (once again to protect Dad). Cel Condition: Very good. Some line fading. Minor scuffing cel surface. A little dust, and at least one small speck. Price: $40.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Mikagami Tokiya Episode #: ? Stats: 1 layer, A4 Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: Mikagami's hair seems to be standing up to symbolise his uppity nature in this cel. He's clearly sneering very coldly, which doesn't exactly narrow down when this moment happens. This was one of my first Mikagami cels, so I quite possibly overpaid a bit. Cel Condition: Good. The sketch seems to have been previously stuck. There are small bits of paint loss on the cel that are mirrored by small bits of paint on the sketch. The cel does still look good. Price: $60.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Domon, Fuuko, Ganko, Kondo, Yanagi's legs Episode #: 18: The Sword of Shura!! Mikagami's March!! Stats: 1 layer, A6 Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: Solid group shot! This is from the very beginning of the Ura Buto Satsujin. Mikagami has been called up to fight the first fight with Daikoku of Team Ku. He startles everyone by walking right back down and away. He's only off to fill up Ensui at a nearby fountain, though. (Ah yes, this isn't a Mikagami cel... well, they're all gawking in confusion and wondering what he's doing as he walks past them.) The sketch is very cute and heavily pencil coloured. Cel Condition: Very Good. Small amounts of line fading, cel dust, and sketch crinkling. Price: $60.

Series: Flame of Recca Character: Kirisawa Fuuko & Ishijima Domon Episode #: 30 or 31 Stats: 2 layers, stuck, A4/D2 Sketches: 2 matching, unstuck Comments: Lovely cel of Fuuko and Domon. Fuuko is the A layer and Domon is the D. You get them separate on their sketches if you dislike one or the other! (I'll admit to liking Fuuko considerably more than Domon.) They're watching Mikagami vs Recca vs Neon and Miki of Uruha Oto. Fuuko only wears this outfit for this particular round. Cel Condition: Very good. Extremely minor line fading and sketch crinkling. The cel surface is a little dusty. There is a stain of some sort near the top of the Domon sketch. Price: $45.
