Fuuko Vs Fujimaru Cels

Fuuko Vs Fujimaru is the third fight of the Ura Buto Satsujin. Fujimaru, unfortunately for them, is a member of Team Ku... and quite definitely a disgrace to the otherwise likable and respectable group. He embarrasses them tremendously during this fight, to say the least.

I wasn't expecting to make this fight section because Fujimaru is repelling and not at all a character I want to collect cels of. I do have one cel of Fuuko kicking him in the face... At least that's a start, and I do have a fair # of Fuuko cels from the fight. There are Fujimaru-inclusive cels (demeaning ones with Fuuko in them) that I would buy if they turned up. And odds are I have a lot of spectator moments that I haven't IDed yet. So, okay, it's the Fujimaru fight with as little Fujimaru as possible!

And until I scan that cel of Fuuko kicking him in the face, it'll be with no Fujimaru at all! (Looking at my Aki Vs Domon section made me realize it won't be the first time I've done this. I should get around to adding more to that section, too.)

Fujimaru's only claims to fame are that he is the fastest member of Ku, and he will stoop to anything to win. In this particular fight he stoops to turning Fuuko into a strip show to demoralize her and throw her off mentally (in the anime it's also to gain popularity with the audience).

Episode #: 20 Stats: 1 layer, A6 KEY END Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: When Fuuko's Kaze no Tsume sap Fujimaru so much that his legs give out on him temporarily, she's about to deliver the finishing blow. He's desperate to stop her and starts fake crying and babbling. When he finally shrieks that he stripped her because she's so hot, she unfortunately does stop and gets a little too happy over it (keep it in mind that she was always called ugly and bullied to the point of becoming anti-social, though they don't get into that as much in the anime). As other members of the team call for her to finish it off she's going all giddy and SD and saying, basically, "But he said I'm hot...". The original translation I saw back in the 90s had her getting called Robo Babe (hence the title of my jpg). I assumed that was a real or made up serial character she liked. I finally listened to what was actually being said, which was no easy chore considering Fujimaru's hysterical squalling, and he said it's because she's an exceptionally fine woman (fine as in "hot" or good-looking). The key part is "ii", which she is repeating in this cel.

Episode #: 20 Stats: 1 layer, A10 Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: After suckering Fuuko with flattery, Fujimaru cuts her face and finishes stripping her. She's down on the floor, and seeming completely demoralized. Fortunately Fujimaru's big mouth then gets the best of him. He babbles on about how you need to do whatever it takes to win, and how he'll kill anyone including women and children. And that's when Fuuko's temper blows. You can see her getting deeply pissed off here (her eyes are raging) and the anger refuels her fighting spirit.

Episode #: 20 Stats: 1 layer, A4 Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: Very close to the end of the fight. Fuuko shot her Kaze no Tsume (wind claws) at Fujimaru, but he dodged all three and landed behind her saying "Too bad, ugly". She draws back (her head) a little, and gasps. She really only puts on a frightened and submissive act, though, and is on the verge of victory.
